ABOUT THE POSITION

This position is primarily responsibility is to maintain including pre-maintenance activates and service the facility and all production equipment to ensure PTI meets the production schedule and customer needs.

This position’s primary responsibilities are to support the Operations Manager with day-to-day maintenance activities and inspections for PTI’s building and equipment.  The incumbent will create/follow a regular maintenance schedule and assist with unplanned incidents that may require minor repairs.  Major work (e.g., electrical, plumbing, equipment servicing, etc.) is delegated to contractors, with the Facility Maintenance Worker coordinating and overseeing the activities.  Training/coaching employees on the proper care/use of equipment is required.

ABOUT YOU

Education & Experience

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Class 5 Drivers License
• 1-3 Years’ experience in facility maintenance or related field
• Knowledge of simple wiring (low voltage)
• Forklift, aerial lift platform and overhead crane training and welding experience are an asset
