In March 2009, PTI completed successful verification on the short circuit withstand capabilities of an HV Deadfront Padmount Transformer design at 10MVA, 115kV Delta (550kV BIL) to 12470v Zig-Zag Wye/7200v. Short circuit tests were performed at the KEMA High Voltage Laboratory. The design was sold to Manitoba Hydro for installation at Seddons Corner about an hour northeast of Winnipeg, MB.

Incorporated on January 26, 1989 Partner Technologies began operations with 4 employees from a two bay garage in the industrial area of Regina. In 2009 PTI celebrates it’s 20th year in business. Operating in a 100,000 square foot facility and now employing over 100 employees.

On June 24th, 2009 PTI celebrated with a small event and BBQ dinner at the plant. Staff and invited guests enjoyed the catering of Merv’s Pitchfork Fondue along with some cool refreshments on a warm summer evening.

On October 14, 2010, Partner Technologies held a news conference to announce the donation of $250,000 to transform cardiac care in the Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, located in the Mosaic Heart Center at the Regina General Hospital. Partner Technologies Incorporated is glad to announce the grand opening of its first office location outside of Regina, Saskatchewan. On October 1, 2011, PTI opened the doors on a new Sales Office in Mississauga. We are very pleased to have Jorge Gomez working for us from this new location. He re-located from Regina to Mississauga over the summer and will provide PTI with Sales & Customer Service out of this office. Jorge is an electrical engineer with transformer design experience.
